CHENNAMANGALAM
CHENNAMANGALAM (also known as Chennotty or Shenut), island in the Periyar River near cranganore , India, home of an old Jewish settlement. The present deserted synagogue, built in 1614, replaced several earlier ones which were successively burned down.
